How To Make Sure That Everyone Knows Your Product Has Been Featured In The Press

An open magazine showing a page of lifestyle products

The research has been done, the pitch has been perfected and your products have been featured in the latest issue of the magazine you targeted. The hard work has paid off and now you can relax (Well, sort of). It's one thing having your products featured in the press, now you need to make sure that everyone knows. Not sure how? Here are our PR top tips on spreading the word.

We know first hand that when you get a good piece of press coverage, especially your first one, it's a happy moment. It's a proud moment and you’re going to want to tell everyone about it; and why shouldn’t you? It’s a great achievement and a great feeling so be sure to share it all over the place, every place you can think of!  Share it with your friends and family, but most importantly – share it online. We can't stress this enough. By sharing it online for all to see, it shows that your product has the potential to be in established publications, and it's a domino effect from there onwards.

The press feature will speak for itself, it shows other publications that your brand is to be taken seriously and that it is being featured elsewhere - one feature can lead to another and another. We love the expression "PR-ing your PR." Don't just stop at social media, be your own marketing extraordinaire, share it on your website, send out an email blast to your customer database, and make use of print. What better way to show it off then to put copies of it everywhere? The key is to make sure nobody can avoid it - but as subtly as possible.
